4. AI & Third-Party Services

Our AI Finance Coach uses Groq's API (Llama 3.1 model). When you use the AI feature, your queries and relevant anonymized financial context may be sent to Groq for processing. Groq's own privacy practices apply. We do not share your personally identifiable information with Groq.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Encrypted passwords (bcrypt hashing — never stored in plain text).
• JWT-based authentication with httpOnly cookies.
• HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit.
• MongoDB Atlas with encryption at rest.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We strive to use commercially acceptable means, but cannot guarantee absolute security.
